The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. was a spin-off of the highly successful series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Leo G. Carroll played Mr. Waverly in both and the first actor to be in two series simultaneously.

As part of their mission, the U.N.C.L.E. agents incite a mutiny among the crew and manage to secure the charts detailing the smuggling operations. However, the uprising spirals out of control, leading to the destruction of the entire ship. First, April, then Mark, find themselves washed ashore on a remote island. This island is under the rule of Genghis Gomez VIII, a self-proclaimed despot who frequently plunders passing ships. Despite being highly trained, the agents find Gomez unusually challenging to deal with, complicating their efforts to regain control of the situation. Matters only worsen when the captain of the sunken Thrush ship also lands on the island, soon followed by reinforcements from Thrush, further escalating the tension and danger.
