In this space western series, the discovery of Kerium, a rare and powerful magic crystal, brings an infinite number of colonists from all the corners of the galaxy to the distant planet New Texas. Some are good and honest, while others are very malicious. The most dangerous of the settlers is Tex Hex, a vicious outlaw who uses dark magic and leads a criminal gang called the Carrion Bunch. Tex himself works for Stampede, a demonic broncosaurus with terrifying supernatural powers. These viliains seek to control the Kerium supply, which will allow them to conquer New Texas. The Galactic Council sends a lawman to protect the planet: Marshall BraveStarr, a heroic Native American who uses his animal-based super powers (Eyes of the Hawk, Ears of the Wolf, Strength of the Bear, Speed of the Puma) to help him fight for justice. BraveStarr's allies include Thirty-Thirty, a talking mechanical horse who can transform into a humanoid form; the loyal Deputy Fuzz, a member of New Texas' native species, the Prairie People; Judge J.B. McBride, the woman who runs the local justice system (and is also BraveStarr's love interest); and the Shaman, BraveStarr's wise mentor and father figure.
