Sixteen fighters, divided into two teams overseen by esteemed boxing coaches, will have their skills, strength and endurance pushed to the limit, while they live and train together, and fight each other in the ring. Initially aired from March 2005 to January 2009 on NBC, ESPN, and Versus. In January 2018, it was announced that the series was being revived by premium cable network Epix for a fifth season which premiered on August 24, 2018.

E1 Why Weight? 2018-08-24 · 60 min Sixteen boxers move into a training facility to compete in The Contender tournament. Two fighters have a verbal altercation outside the ring. The two teams choose fighters to represent them in the first fight of the tournament.

E10 Heart and Balls 2018-10-26 · 60 min Friends become foes in the last two quarterfinal bouts; with the semifinals just around the corner, one fighter tries to refocus, while another is hungry for redemption.
