E1 Episode 1 - Peter's Dream 2026-08-13 · 60 min Peter Wright has a dream that, across the country, animal lovers could have wonderful places where they can forever remember the pets who have enriched their lives. Cameras follow him as he embarks on a passion project to make that dream come true. It takes him to Sussex to meet the country's first animal chaplain and her church's pet memorial garden, inspiring him to create something similar back in Yorkshire.
E2 Episode 2 2026-08-20 · 60 min It is after 11pm, and Matt Smith rushes out to help a cow who has suffered a massive prolapse after giving birth. Cameras also focus on 12-year-old Boston Terrier Rambo, who has a very sore mouth. As Julian Norton investigates, he thinks he's spotted a serious problem.

Matt Smith has an unusual job too - TB testing a couple of badger cubs. Peter Wright rushes to an emergency at local farm, where a rare breed ewe has given birth to one lamb already.

He tests for cancer by embracing AI technology for the first time. And Julian Norton deals with a couple of sheep who need castrating so they can play their part at a local educational farm for children.

At Cannon Hall Farm, Shona Searson scans two mares, hoping to continue beloved shire horse Herkules's legacy.
